What is Pilates

Pilates is a training concept developed by the legendary Joseph H. Pilates, which is oriented toward the body to stretch, strengthen and balance it. Each exercise is controlled and executed with great precision. It acts from the body centre, the powerhouse (the stomach / lower back, buttock and thigh muscles).






The correct breathing pattern supports the exercise. For all this to run, it is important that the "mind" is centred and concentrated. Every movement performed according to these principles, where one flows gracefully into another, creates a complete workout.

The six Pilates principles: concentration, centring, control, breathing, precision and flow.

Peak Pilates focuses on the original, classic Pilates, with a corresponding classical, systematic training concept. Classical Pilates is rhythmic, fluid and focused to form a real workout. It builds resistance, flexibility and strength.

Target Pilates is basically suitable for everyone, from people in shape to the elderly or those recovering from an injury. It is a balanced approach that can be adapted to one's condition, strengths and weaknesses.
